VIIIBRATIIIONS (2018) by Miami-based artist Haiiileen explores the invisible frequencies that shape our emotional and physical realities — transforming sound, color, and vibration into tangible form.

This sculptural and conceptual work bridges synesthesia, physics, and spirituality, visualizing how energy moves through matter and consciousness. Through a rhythmic choreography of light, reflection, and tone, VIIIBRATIIIONS immerses viewers in the oscillating spectrum between perception and presence.

VIIIBRATIIIONS originated from Haiiileen’s long-standing fascination with how vibration influences both the body and the mind. Constructed using custom LED systems, mirrored panels, and color-reactive materials, the work translates frequencies into evolving light sequences that correspond to emotional resonance.

The installation pulses with soft transitions between chromatic tones — pinks, blues, and golds — representing human emotion as wavelength. It invites viewers to slow down, breathe, and align with the energy that surrounds and sustains them.

“We are all frequencies. Every thought, every feeling — a ripple in the light. VIIIBRATIIIONS was about tuning in.” — Haiiileen

  • Synesthetic Awareness: Exploring how the senses overlap and inform perception.
  • Emotional Frequency: Translating mood and intuition into color and sound.
  • Scientific Spirituality: Using visual art as an instrument for energetic calibration.
  • Participatory Presence: Inviting viewers to engage with the space as part of its vibration field.
  • Light-reactive sculpture incorporating LED sequencing responsive to ambient sound.
  • Mirrored surfaces designed to refract color and create prismatic halo effects.
  • Low-frequency sound tones that correspond to the visual rhythm of color shifts.
  • Geometric arrangement inspired by wave interference patterns.
  • Spatial calibration zone — a meditative space where visitors could align with the installation’s frequency pulse.

“This piece became my meditation chamber. It reminded me that energy never disappears — it just changes wavelength. That’s what life and art are both about.”

VIIIBRATIIIONS served as a turning point in Haiiileen’s career — where artistic practice became an energetic philosophy. It also laid the groundwork for later projects such as Spectral Resonance (2024), Aura Reading (2024), and ICU (2025), continuing her exploration of the relationship between light, consciousness, and transformation.

  • Introduces Haiiileen’s conceptual foundation for vibration-based art.
  • Serves as a precursor to the Aura and Spectral series (2024–2025).
  • Represents one of the earliest works where sound, light, and emotion were scientifically mapped into art.
  • Reflects the artist’s ongoing fusion of quantum theory, spirituality, and aesthetic expression.
  • Considered the first articulation of Haiiileen’s Vibrational Aesthetic Theory.

“I don’t paint with color anymore — I paint with frequency. Light is my brush. Sound is my pulse.”
