Neo Aciiid, Haiii On Society (2020)

Part of the larger Haiii on Society (2020) exhibition commissioned by PMG Properties for Society Las Olas Living, Neo-Aciiid represents artist Haiiileen’s exploration of perception, light, and emotional frequency through neon luminosity.
This limited-edition sculptural series — presented in neon yellow, red, and green variations — redefines the boundaries between art, technology, and spatial emotion. Created just before the 2020 lockdown, Neo-Aciiid reflects a vibrant tension between human energy and architectural rhythm, standing as a visual metaphor for transformation and connection.

Neo-Aciiid (2020) is a collection of handcrafted neon light sculptures that merge minimal geometry with ecstatic color. Each piece radiates energy, using frequency, saturation, and reflection to explore how light behaves as both an emotion and a material.

Installed as part of the Haiii on Society exhibition, the sculptures glowed within a mirrored environment — creating the illusion of infinite refraction. The result was a living system of light, pulsing like a neural network, transforming the sales gallery into a synesthetic architectural experience.

“Neo-Aciiid was about vibrancy in isolation — a premonition of the emotional voltages we were about to enter globally.” — Haiiileen

  • Frequency + Form: Translating the pulse of emotion into static light, balancing minimalism and chaos.
  • Chromatic Language: Utilizing neon yellow, green, and red to represent acceleration, vitality, and warmth.
  • Architectural Dialogue: Positioning art as a sensory conversation between space and energy.
  • Synesthetic Philosophy: Merging Haiiileen’s color-sound correlation with industrial materials and reflective design.
  • Three main LED sculptures (neon yellow, green, and red) installed along mirrored panels.
  • 15-foot power cable system for spatial integration.
  • Custom framing in industrial matte finish.
  • Light programming to synchronize intensity and fade cycles.

Displayed as part of Haiii on Society (2020), alongside companion installations:
Orbit, Micro Haiii, Haiii Light, Hypnotiiic, and Haiii on Art.

“Neo-Aciiid was one of my first true frequency-based installations — a sculptural soundwave you could walk through.”

Developed during a period of rapid technological and emotional change, Neo-Aciiid was as much an act of defiance as creation. The work symbolized resilience through luminosity — finding vibrancy even in stillness.

Haiiileen’s signature “acid frequency” became a metaphor for human transformation — a visual rhythm that continues to pulse across her larger practice in synesthetic art and immersive environments.

  • Marks the culmination of Haiiileen’s Aciiid series into architectural scale.
  • Serves as the energetic centerpiece of Haiii on Society (2020) — the final pre-pandemic immersive installation.
  • Demonstrates her integration of industrial design, emotional intelligence, and light engineering.
  • A foundational study for later works exploring vibrational resonance (Prismatic Queen, Spectral Resonance, and ICU).

“Each light carries its own vibration — a pulse that connects to human emotion. Neo-Aciiid wasn’t just color; it was consciousness in motion.”
