The Synesthetic Mirrors Installation for AVIÓN Tequila (Dec 2022) is a neo-acid, light-reactive sculptural environment created by Miami artist Haiiileen. Inspired by her synesthesia and color-frequency practice, the project merged reflective holographic surfaces, rainbow waveform mirrors, and environmental light mapping to transform the space into a fully immersive spectrum room. Designed as a visual embodiment of Avión’s concept of purity, elevation, and sensory craft, the installation created a prismatic atmosphere that bathed guests, vinyl collections, and architectural surfaces in shifting chromatic wavelengths.

Description

A trio of neo-acid sculptural mirrors radiating swirling chromatic patterns into the environment, casting swirling rainbows across vinyl collections, walls, and concrete floors. Each reflective panel behaves like a living synesthetic instrument — bending light, color, and sound vibrations into fluid visual waves.
As guests moved through the space, the colors shifted and wrapped around their bodies, creating a sensory realm between art, identity, and mirrored perception.

Artist Reflection
