Framed hydro-drip acrylic artwork from the High on Dalí (2020) series, created on mirrored backing to produce depth, reflection, and light-responsive color shifts.
Haiii on Dalí (2020) Framed Hydro-Drip Acrylic, a series published during Haiiileen’s collaboration with The Dalí Universe in Miami Beach.
Each work in the series is created using a hydro-dripping process on acrylic, where liquid pigment is manipulated through water to form organic, cellular patterns. The acrylic surface is then laid over a metallic mirrored backing, creating depth, reflection, and dynamic light interaction that shifts with movement and ambient conditions.
The mirrored substrate introduces a perceptual layering—color appears suspended, amplified, and in constant flux. As light enters the surface, the artwork transforms from static image into a responsive visual field, engaging both space and viewer.
This piece is professionally framed and designed to function as both artwork and light-responsive object, continuing Haiiileen’s exploration of perception, reflection, and environmental activation.
Originally presented during High on Dalí in 2020, the work exists as a collectible artifact from a pivotal exhibition moment bridging contemporary light practice and surrealist legacy.
