Nu-Uni Lamp is a sculptural light object by Haiiileen (2024), blending layered form, color, and ambient glow into functional art.
Nu-Uni Lamp is a sculptural light object exploring containment, glow, and interior worlds.
Formed through layered, hand-worked material, the lamp creates a recessed cavity that holds a horizontal light source—revealing striations, pigment shifts, and reflective depth as the light activates the surface. Blues, teals, and violet tones ripple outward, giving the object a living, tidal quality.
The work functions as both illumination and portal—casting ambient light while drawing the viewer inward. Each Nu-Uni Lamp is unique, shaped intuitively through process rather than mold, resulting in subtle variations in texture, contour, and glow.
This piece is part of Haiiileen’s ongoing exploration of light as structure, emotion, and frequency.
