As part of her residency at Club Space Miami, artist Haiiileen created SPACE: How to Get Haiii (2018) — an immersive, bimonthly installation series exploring the energetic relationship between music, light, and transformation.
Each installation transformed the iconic venue into a multi-sensory portal, blending art and nightlife in a celebration of color, sound, and human frequency. This particular edition — a lush, otherworldly jungle of green and reflection — embodied the feeling of getting “lost in the sauce of sound.”

Description
SPACE: How to Get Haiii (2018) was part of Haiiileen’s artist residency at Club Space Miami, a transformative series of bimonthly installations that merged nightlife, sound, and immersive art into one cohesive sensory experience.
Through this project, Haiiileen created a rotating series of site-specific environments that reflected her evolving narratives — exploring the interplay between music, material, and multidimensional design.
This particular installation, themed around “an endless journey through greenery and cosmic sound,” invited visitors to lose themselves in layers of texture, light, and atmosphere. The environment was designed to blur the boundary between performance and perception — a living dreamscape glowing with color and rhythm.
“Space was where I learned to see sound.
It’s where I transformed from an observer to an architect of energy.”
Conceptual Framework
- Full-Circle Legacy: Club Space was the foundation of Haiiileen’s early obsession with music and nightlife — returning as an artist marked the closing of a personal and creative loop.
- Sound-to-Space Translation: Exploring how sonic frequencies shape emotional and visual landscapes.
- Material Alchemy: Using limited, repurposed, and found materials to create multisensory ecosystems.
- Photo Activation: Each installation doubled as a photoshoot space, merging editorial aesthetics with performance environments.
- Participatory Immersion: Guests entered an evolving narrative world that transformed with every light shift and beat.
Archival Significance
- Marks the initiation of Haiiileen’s long-term exploration of immersive art in nightlife spaces.
- Bridges her early aesthetic background in beauty, fashion, and installation art with environmental storytelling.
- Serves as a catalyst for later site-specific works and light-based installations, including Aciiid Bubbles (2020) and Nu-Wave Lamps (2024).
- Helped launch Club Space’s art programming and redefined Miami’s intersection of art, sound, and culture.

“I used to go to Space just to feel the bass and light sync. Now I get to build that feeling — to design energy as art.”
