Presented during Miami Art Week at The Miami Beach Edition Hotel, aciiid traiiils transformed an indoor social lounge into a radiant, prismatic environment. This iteration of the installation brought the signature neon gradients of my aciiid language into a sleek architectural interior, merging nightlife, hospitality, and color intervention into a single sensory experience.

Project Description
For Miami Art Week 2021, aciiid traiiils was installed as a wall-based chromatic intervention at The Edition Hotel. The work spans a series of tall, narrow wooden panels—each hand-painted with iridescent rainbow gradients that echo the chromatic distortions of heat, movement, and sound.
Mounted against the hotel’s signature blonde-wood walls, the panels appear to levitate in rhythmic intervals, creating a sculptural “spectrum wall.” As colored lighting washes the space, each panel refracts and amplifies vibrational tones, shifting with the movements of guests and the ambient glow of the room.
This indoor iteration of aciiid traiiils transforms a hospitality setting into a psychedelic architectural surface—bridging fine art, nightlife, and designed social space.
Installation Components
- Iridescent hand-painted vertical wooden planks
- High-gloss resin for hyperreflective surface activation
- Integrated LED/UV lighting
- Wall-mounted linear gradient sequence
- Lounge seating + ambient lighting environment

Concept + Framework
As a continuation of my aciiid series, this work examines color as an emotional and spatial force. Installed at The Edition—an environment known for blending luxury minimalism with nightlife—it becomes a bridge between:
- synesthetic perception
- color psychology
- social architecture
- atmospheric design
The vertical panels act like color frequency bars: visual equalizers that respond to the room’s energy. Their narrow format creates a rhythm across the wall, allowing each strip to function as a chromatic “syllable” in a larger sensory syntax.
This installation expands the work’s conceptual language from outdoor landscapes to interior architecture, questioning how built spaces can become vibrational fields.
Artist Reflection
“This Edition installation felt like installing a color organ—each panel vibrated with its own frequency, but together they created a full spectrum. I wanted the wall to feel alive, breathing, and reactive to the environment.”
— Haiiileen
Archival Significance
This installation marks the first interior architectural edition of aciiid traiiils, bridging hospitality design and chromatic intervention. While earlier versions existed outdoors, this presentation brought the work into a structured, luxury environment—showing its adaptability across spatial contexts.
It remains an important documentation of:
- the evolution of the aciiid gradient language
- the integration of my work within hospitality/artweek experiences
- development toward large-scale architectural chroma work
