In 2017, Haiiileen launched SPACE: Balloons — the first installation in her ongoing HAIII on SPACE residency at Club Space Miami. This large-scale immersive environment reimagined the club’s architecture as a field of floating forms and reflections, merging nightlife culture with conceptual art.
A convergence of sound, movement, and material, SPACE: Balloons invited guests to step into a surreal atmosphere of suspended geometry and chromatic energy — an early precursor to Haiiileen’s later large-scale works like LightScapes and HAIII on Society.

Title: SPACE: Balloons (2017) — Immersive Installation by Haiiileen at Club Space Miami

- Commissioned by: Club Space Miami
- Medium: Site-Specific Installation | Environmental Art | Light & Object Design
- Location: Club Space, Miami, FL
- Year: 2017

Description
SPACE: Balloons transformed the lower level of Club Space Miami into an interdimensional landscape of light, color, and floating orbs. Constructed with metallic balloons, mirrored panels, and reactive lighting, the installation reflected both the music and the crowd — turning every movement into a shimmer of energy.
Each element was arranged to mimic planetary orbits, creating a sensory ecosystem where gravity seemed to dissolve. Guests were encouraged to interact with the space, blurring the line between viewer and participant, nightlife and art, body and environment.
“I wanted the room to feel like you were dancing inside a galaxy — where every breath and beat creates a new star.” — Haiiileen
