Commissioned by PMG Properties for the Haiii on Society (2020) exhibition, Orbiiit was the exhibition’s central immersive sculpture, symbolizing the gravitational core of the entire installation.
Merging reflection, color theory, and spatial geometry, the piece invited audiences into a meditative vortex of light — a portal where movement and stillness coexisted. As viewers circled around its mirrored structure, the sculpture generated optical halos that echoed the exhibition’s core theme: connection through perception.

Description
Orbiiit (2020) is a large-scale reflective light sculpture designed as a vibrational center of perception and energy. Combining mirrored acrylic surfaces, LED lighting, and hand-painted details, the installation refracts light outward like a celestial pulse — simulating the motion of orbiting energy around a core of consciousness.
At its essence, Orbiiit represents the harmony between movement and gravity, a central concept in Haiiileen’s work that translates cosmic ideas into sensory architecture. It was positioned at the heart of the Haiii on Society exhibition, functioning both as a sculptural form and a meditative space for collective presence.
“Orbiiit is about finding your balance — that still point within motion where reflection becomes energy.” — Haiiileen
Conceptual Framework
- Gravitational Aesthetics: Translating cosmic motion into visual rhythm and spatial flow.
- Synesthetic Geometry: Using form, light, and reflection to mirror emotional frequencies.
- Architectural Meditation: Positioning sculpture as an environment rather than an object.
- Human Resonance: Creating a mirrored field where the viewer’s body completes the composition.
Installation Components
- Central reflective orb-like structure composed of layered mirrors and UV resin.
- LED light core that projects chromatic gradients, cycling between warm and cool color spectrums.
- Surrounding mirrored planes to amplify refraction and illusion of depth.
- Spatial sound integration synced to ambient frequencies to evoke movement through vibration.
- Interactive zone allowing viewers to walk around the sculpture and experience changing optical perspectives.
Installed as the main feature of Haiii on Society (2020), Orbiiit interacted dynamically with the companion installations — Micro Haiii, Haiii Light, Hypnotiiic, Haiii on Art, and Neo-Aciiid — forming a complete architectural ecosystem.
Artist Reflection
“When I created Orbiiit, I wanted people to feel gravity emotionally. To realize that we are all reflections orbiting one another — connected by the invisible frequency of being.”
The piece became an emotional cornerstone of the exhibition — a portal of balance, energy, and reflection. It reflected Haiiileen’s philosophy of merging art and architecture, translating the metaphysical idea of frequency into tangible, visible resonance.
Archival Significance
- Central sculptural installation of the Haiii on Society (2020) exhibition.
- First introduction of Haiiileen’s orb geometry language, later expanded in Spectral Resonance (2024) and ICU (2025).
- Demonstrates advanced integration of light programming, spatial reflection, and material layering.
- Serves as an early example of the artist’s synesthetic architecture approach — merging emotion, light, and geometry.
- Represents a transitional moment in the artist’s evolution from large-scale physical installations to modular, conceptual environments.

“Everything moves, even light. Orbiiit was my way of showing that motion isn’t chaos — it’s harmony waiting to be reflected.”
