Neo Aciiid (2020) is a limited edition illuminated artwork created for the Neo Aciiid Room installation during Haiiileen’s HAIII on SOCIETY exhibition. The works feature swirling acrylic marbling framed within neon edges that radiate light into the surrounding environment. Each piece functions both as painting and glowing object, shifting in tone depending on ambient conditions and its own LED illumination.

Drawing on her ongoing engagement with rave culture, synesthesia, and social architecture, Haiiileen designed Neo Aciiid as both an aesthetic object and an atmospheric activator. The marbled surfaces are reminiscent of liquid psychedelia, referencing the acid house movement while extending its energy into new sculptural and lighting vocabularies.

The neon frames act as portals — accentuating the vibrational relationship between color, material, and space. As part of HAIII on SOCIETY, the works were situated in a dedicated Neo Aciiid Room, creating an immersive chromatic environment that merged art, light, and communal energy.

Neo Aciiid holds importance in Haiiileen’s archive as a bridge between her immersive installations and collectible objects. Produced as a limited edition of nine total works (3 in neon red, 3 in neon green, 3 in neon yellow), each piece comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

This series captures the essence of her “living light paintings” while also formalizing her practice into editions for collectors, expanding her reach beyond site-specific environments into private and institutional collections.
